About The Role

This is an exciting role that will be tasked with maximising sales and profit within a defined geographical boundary by providing effective account management and first class customer support. This means growing existing customers and winning new business.

Other areas of focus include commercial objectives through the creation of strong customer relationships across range of existing and prospect customers.

The role involves a variety of tasks which all require a good understanding of the Alliance Healthcare categories and commercial offer, customer behaviour, trading partners, the retail pharmacy market and competitive environment.

About You
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Numerate and IT literate

  • Strong commercial focus
    • Influencing- essential for managing internal and external stakeholders
    • Negotiation - in-depth experience and success in leading negotiations in on-going business
    • Commercial – financial awareness
Knowledge & Experience
  • Evidence of structured field sales experience
  • Experience of sales from within the pharmaceutical industry or other complex trading environment.
