About The Role

Days/hours of work : 5 shifts out of 7 – total 37.5 hours per week. Your main hours of work will commence at 08:00 to 16:00 from Monday – Friday week 1 then Tuesday – Saturday week 2.

This role is accountable for the delivery of an efficient and effective administrative support function to a multi user store delivery cross dock centre delivering to multiple stores within a geographic region.  Responsible for the briefing/debriefing of drivers, system input and general duties associated within the Transport department.   

Key areas of responsibility will include the following:

  • Debriefing drivers at the end of their shift, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly, equipment is returned and dealing with any issues
  • Filing driver/vehicle records
  • Data input on Vision and GIT system
  • Recording and completing defect reports, agency timesheets, overtime sheets, driver holiday requests
  • Creation of journey boxes, ensuring drivers have all paperwork and equipment needed to complete duties
  • Supporting the Management Team and taking on key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

About You

If you are an experienced administrator, preferably within a transport background then we would love you to apply! You will have good communication and organisation skills with the ability to forward plan and react to time sensitive issues.

You will need a basic understanding of technology, with good keyboard skills and understanding of Microsoft applications.     

You will have the ability to adapt to new processes and a desire for accuracy in all aspects of administration to ensure we maintain our high standard of efficiency.
